I’ve come to really like PMC and what the Hegel integrated offers- especially with onboard DAC, Soundengine 2, and streaming (eventual Roon) as I use Qobuz. While I love the 3-way flagship model because of the dedicated mid, I’m afraid it would be too much for space. PMCs are hard to come by where I’m located, but I have found luck in auditioning several. with Allen Edelstein of Stereotimes the latest critic to be taken in by the loudspeakers outstanding performance. I have for awhile had my mind set on a PMC Twenty5/i floorstander (first love was the 25.23, but leaning toward the 25.24i) paired with Hegel H390 integrated power amp and Parasound JC-3 Jr. The SCM40A continues to gain fans in the U.S.
